The Hyundai Alcazar facelift has been sighted testing for the first time. The revised model will have new design aspects as well as additional functions.
It is expected to be launched in early 2024, according to Motorbeam. Hyundai has been testing the Alcazar facelift both abroad and in the Indian market, where it receives significant aesthetic changes.
The new design will be influenced by the current generation Hyundai Santa Fe, which has a completely different design direction with straight and crisp lines.
The Alcazar facelift will include a new front fascia with a modified grille, new headlights and DRLs, and a revamped bumper. For a new look, the rear will also get new lighting and an updated bumper. We wouldn’t be surprised if Hyundai decided to make alterations to the body panels as well. The side profile will be the same, but the alloy wheels will be new.
Hyundai will launch the facelifted Creta in the domestic market in 2024, and the revised Alcazar could follow. Meanwhile, the spy video uploaded by Motorbeam shows a test mule with the front, side, and rear profiles wrapped in black to conceal the visual modifications. The side profile will reportedly be identical to the current model, and we do not anticipate any significant changes in proportions.

Some of the features of the Hyundai Alcazar facelift include a reworked front grille, puddle lighting logo, six airbags as standard equipment, idle start/stop technology for enhanced fuel efficiency, and so on. The equipment list will most likely be comparable to that of the 2024 Creta, and the likelihood of ADAS inclusion is strong.
Talking about the Hyundai Alcazar, it falls in the price range of Rs. 16.77 lakh and Rs. 21.23 lakh (ex-showroom).
In terms of performance, the 1.5L turbo petrol engine launched earlier this year will very certainly be retained. This motor is capable of producing 160 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 253 Nm of peak torque at 1,500 to 3,500 rpm. The engine is paired with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
The 1.5L four-cylinder CRDi diesel engine, which produces 116 bhp at 4,000 rpm and 250 Nm of peak torque from 1,500 to 2,750 rpm, could also remain. It is available with either a six-speed MT or an AT torque converter.
The revamped Alcazar’s interior is slated to receive some improvements, including an updated steering wheel, a new touchscreen infotainment system, and a few other amenities. It is also possible that the upholstery will be replaced with new colours and materials. The engine options will also stay unaltered. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines will remain available, along with manual and automatic gearbox options for the Hyundai Alcazar.
