KL Rahul announced his comeback with a century against Pakistan in the Super Four clash of the ongoing Asia Cup 2023.

KL Rahu announced his international comeback with a scintillating hundred against Pakistan in the Super Four game of ongoing the Asia Cup 2023. To celebrate his return, his IPL franchise – Lucknow Super Giants – shared a video montage depicting the right-hand batter’s recovery at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.

The video starts with clips of KL’s injury as the cricketer undergoes the recovery process. He is soon seen in the nets before finally making his return to the national team. The post simply read, “Nothing but respect, KL.”

Several fans agreed with the admin as many congratulated the cricketer on making his international return. They were impressed by the work ethic and determination of KL Rahul to return to full fitness. One of them wrote, “Pure KLass: The Artistry of #KL Rahul”

In a similar reaction, another fan replied, “I don’t know how many people didn’t believe in KL Rahul but even before 6 months still I believed in him and now it’s increased by 100x.”

One fan acknowledged the hard work that the cricketer had put in to make it back on top. His comment read, “KL, hard work before success”.

A user said that he used to be a critic but KL’s performance turned him into a fan. He wrote, “I was his big critic but he made me his fan”.

KL Rahul suffered a thigh injury in IPL 2023. While representing LSG against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), KL was seen in pain after attempting to stop a boundary for his side. He updated his fans about his physical condition on May 9 on Instagram.

In his post, KL wrote, “I just got done with my surgery – it was successful. I’m officially on the road to recovery now. I’m determined to get back to my best and get back on the field.”

It looks like KL Rahul has lived up to his words as the batter smashed a century in his comeback match against Pakistan in the Super Four clash. KL scored an astonishing 111 runs in 106 balls in the match. His innings helped India set a 356-run total ultimately winning the game by 228 runs.

He was phenomenal in their next game against Sri Lanka as well. KL scored 39 runs for his side before picking up two catches and a stumping in the game. India registered its second victory by 41 runs, almost sealing a spot in the final.
