New Delhi: BJP leader Yashwant Sinha, a member of the JPC probing the 2G scam, on Wednesday wrote to the PM asking him to respond to the serious charges leveled by Raja on him before JPC through a letter and documents supporting his claims.
This is the third letter Sinha has written to the Prime Minister asking him to appear before the panel. Sinha said Manmohan Singh has ignored two of his previous letters.
In his letter, Sinha said the Prime Minister should now respond to the serious charges leveled by Raja on him before JPC through a letter and documents supporting his claims.
In his previous letters, Sinha had said any hesitation on his part to appear before JPC will prove that he has "something to hide". Sinha had also pointed out that when Parliament's Public Accounts Committee was examining the CAG report on the 2G scam, the Prime Minister had publicly offered to appear before it to enable the committee reach the "right conclusions".
