New Delhi: AAP MP Bhagwant Mann has issued an unconditional apology after Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan summoned him on Friday for live streaming a video of the Parliament premises on his Facebook page.

Mann's video which recieved thousands of likes was an apparaent security breach that exposed various security check points inside the parliament premises.

Mann was summoned by Lok Sabha Speaker, Sumitra Mahajan after opposition parties raised a hue and cry in parliament over the issue and asked for strict action against Mann.

Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day after repeated disruptions over the issue.

Mahajan meanwhile said she will consult political parties for "appropriate action" into the matter that she termed "too serious".

The Lok Sabha member from Sangrur said that he made this mistake inadvertently and had no intention of compromising the security of Parliament.

"I did not know that it is against the rules," said Mann in his apology letter to the Speaker.

"I apologise unconditionally. I will not repeat it in future," Maan added.

Earlier, Mann had a bizarre defence to back his actions and had even claimed that even Google Earth shows the path to the parliament.

The Speaker, however, was not impressed by his apology, and reminded Mann that Parliament has been attacked by terrorists once in 2001 resulting in the death of 13 people.
