Indore: The BJP on Wednesday denied charges that candidates connected with the RSS have got jobs at a Bhopal-based journalism institute through unfair means.
"Nobody from the state government has interfered in the appointments at the Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication (MCNUJC). The accusations made by Congress in this regard are totally false," Madhya Pradesh BJP chief Nandkumar Singh Chauhan told reporters on the sidelines of a function in Indore.
State Congress unit chief Arun Yadav had on Tuesday alleged that the BJP-led state government had turned MCNUJC into a RSS propaganda laboratory and that a large number of people connected with the sangh have got jobs in the institute.
"Congress was playing politics on falsehood. Its leaders are getting exposed now. No one believes Congressmen and people take their statements as jokes," he said in response to Yadav's allegations.
He said Congress members are stalling the proceedings of the Parliament, thereby blocking country's development.
"If Congress MPs have credible arguments, they should debate on it in Parliament," he said, adding that the rival party members are creating furore and trying to spread confusion in public.
