Suspended IPL commissioner finds his way blocked at Delhi airport.

New Delhi: Suspended IPL commissioner Lalit Modi scolded reporters at the Delhi airport on Wednesday after landing in the city to reportedly to take legal action against the BCCI.

Modi had to jostle hard to get out of the airport as waiting media persons blocked his way. Although the exact reasons for his sudden visit to the city are not known, there is speculation that he is here to meet his lawyers.

The embattled administrator, who has been given 15 days by the BCCI to respond to charges of rigging bids, taking kickbacks for TV and internet rights deals and behavioural problems, looked agitated as he tried to find his way to a waiting car outside the airport exit.

With mikes surrounding him, Modi merely stated, "nothing, nothing" at first before losing his cool.

"Why aren't you letting me reach my car? Why are you blocking me? Can't you be gentlemen?" he fumed before being escorted to his car by his bodyguards.

Modi has been at the centre of a raging IPL row ever since his tweets on the shareholding pattern of the new Kochi franchise led to the resignation of Junior Foreign Minister Shashi Tharoor.

Defiant through the controversy, Modi was suspended from his post after the IPL finals which prevented him from attending the April 26 Governing Council meeting in which the BCCI came out with its charge-sheet against him.

Modi hasn't responded to the charges as yet and has merely tweeted that it's not over yet after BCCI President Shashank Manohar launched a scathing attack against him after the Governing Council meet.

What's your reaction?
