Koraput: In yet another incident of poll related violence, a video reportedly shows BJD leader Dharmendra Adhikari stabbing a Congress candidate's brother and nephew in hotel in Koraput in Odisha. The victims are in serious condition and have been admitted to a hospital.
The victims are relatives of Jeypore MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati.
The video has been released by Koraput Police. The attack was caught on CCTV on the night after voting got over in the first phase in the state on April 10.
The Congress on Saturday gave a 10-hour bandh in Koraput in the wake of the incident demanding immediate arrest of the assailants. The Congress had alleged that the attack was masterminded by BJD minister from Koraput Rabi Naryan Nanda.
The police has given security protection to Nanda fearing retaliatory attack, who has denied any involvement.
