Delhi: BJP likely to take a call on its chief ministerial candidate today
BJP's central leadership is likely to take a final call on its chief ministerial candidate during Sunday's meeting.

New Delhi: With just few weeks away from Delhi's Assembly elections, the BJP's central leadership is likely to take a final call on its chief ministerial candidate during Sunday's meeting.

The decision is expected to be taken in the presence of the party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi who will be in the national capital in connection with the BJP's Central Election Committee meeting.

According to the sources, party leaders were largely in favour of Harsh Vardhan over Delhi BJP chief Vijay Goel.

Delhi goes to polls on December 4 to elect its 70-member state assembly and the poll process in the state would kickstart on November 9 with the issue of the gazette notification and start of nominations.

Counting will take place on December 8. A total of 1.15 crore voters in the national capital are expected to exercise their franchise on December 4.
