5:50 pm: Sources are also claiming that the party is split over the issue of Kejriwal's resignation. Party leader Yogendra Yadav said that a decision on Kejriwal's resignation will be discussed at the meeting which will be held soon after the Delhi Assembly is adjourned for the day.
5:40 pm: Kejriwal has asked his supporters to meet at the party's Hanuman road office to discuss what the next step of the party would be. According to sources, Kejriwal is considering the option of resigning from the post of the Delhi CM.
5:30 pm: Kejriwal, who has been extremely vocal in his support of the Bill, had said that he would resign from his post of the Chief Minister of the state if the Bill is not introduced and subsequently passed.
Now that Bill has not been introduced in the House, the future course of action for the Chief Minister remains uncertain.
5:05 pm: Delhi High Court agrees to hear a plea against LG's power to prevent tabling of a bill in the Assembly. The plea will be heard on Tuesday.
4:53: After the voting, the Speaker says the Jan Lokpal will not be introduced. In the 70 member Assembly, 27 members were in favour of the Bill while 42 were against it.

2:19 pm: The BJP has accused the AAP government of breaking all rules and norms of the House. "Like Lovely said, we are members of this House for 20 years, Friday is a day of private members bill," said BJP leader Harsh Vardhan.
2:15 pm: "Today the Jan Lokpal Bill is the 5th item in the list of important things on the agenda of the House today. If the Bill is so important then why is it now 5th on the agenda," asks Lovely.

1:35 pm: The Congress claims some of its MLAs have not even received the copies of the Jan Lokpal Bill.
1:31 pm: The Congress has said that it will continue supporting the AAP government. "Congress supports Jan Lokpal Bill. Our support to AAP continues but they should bring the Jan Lokpal bill in a Constitutional way," said party leader Arvinder Singh Lovely.
The Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi is headed for a make-or-break showdown on Friday. Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung has written to the Speaker against tabling the Jan Lokpal Bill.
The L-G says that the Jan Lokpal Bill cannot be tabled as it is not approved by the Centre. Sources have told CNN-IBN that the government may take a vote in the Assembly on tabling the Bill. Sources say that if the Kejriwal government loses the vote, he could step down as CM on Friday itself.
"Without the sanction of the L-G, the Bill cannot be tabled. If after getting the L-G's letter also, he does not believe in the Constitution, Kejriwal is behaving like a great dictator. We will decide on the floor of the House. If the government falls, Kejriwal is responsible," said Congress leader Haroon Yusuf.
There were unruly scenes in the Delhi Assembly on Thursday with the Speaker's microphone broken. This came as the Congress and BJP MLAs demanded Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti's resignation. Despite the uproar over the demand, Kejriwal is looking to finally table the Jan Lokpal Bill on Friday.
Neither the Congress nor the BJP are holding back on their opposition to the Bill. "If the Jan Lokpal Bill is brought to the assembly in accordance with the Constitution, we will support the Bill. If the bill is introduced in an unconstitutional way, we will not support it," said BJP leader Harsh Vardhan.
Senior MLA in the Delhi Assembly Shoaib Iqbal too has also said that he thinks that Kejriwal will most likely quit on Friday. Shoaib Iqbal said that the Congress and the BJP have joined hands to defeat the AAP government.
He said, "The Jan Lokpal Bill doesn't matter today. They have snatched the Speaker's power. The Congress and the BJP both will oppose it. I think Arvind Kejriwal will resign today. The AAP doesn't know how to work on the floor, and what else they can do when their Speaker's power is snatched?"
Iqbal, who won on the JDU ticket in the last Assembly polls, is backing the AAP government from outside. He attacked the government saying that the AAP and Arvind Kejriwal are not being able to fulfil the promises. He even termed the Jan Lokpal Bill as unconstitutional.
He said, "I have been supporting the Bill, but seeing the condition I don't know whether I would be able to support it now or not. This was the most shameful day in the history. This is a black day for Delhi."
Meanwhile, a PIL has been filed in the Delhi High Court challenging the Home Ministry rule that makes its clearance mandatory for tabling the Jan Lokpal Bill.####
