New Delhi: Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare on Thursday denied RSS' claims of the sangh parivaar supporting Anna's movement. Reacting to RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat's statement, Anna said, "I have no relations with the RSS."
Anna also blamed UPA Chief Sonia Gandhi and others of targeting him. Anna stated, "Everybody knows what Anna is. I don't need the RSS."
Bhagwat on Wednesday had said that they supported the anti-corruption movement launched by the Gandhian. "We support Anna. Many of our workers have joined his movement. We haven't asked them to support neither have we stopped them," Bhagwat said.
He said that the RSS has been trying to create good people who can lead a corruption-free life. "If asked to, we will participate in the movement, but no request has come from Anna," he said.
Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has been alleging that Anna has a nexus with BJP-RSS in the anti-corruption agitation.
