Network 18 brought all the top leaders of Bihar on one stage to explore the truth behind issues that matter.

The poll bugle has been sounded in Bihar with just a month left before that state goes to vote to elect its Assembly. Amid the volleys of blames that are being thrown by political leaders, Network 18 brought all the top leaders on one stage to explore the truth behind issues that matter. Network 18's IBN Dialogue Bihar 2.0, a day-long programme, was held in Patna.

Here are the highlights of the event:

## Nitish Kumar: Fertility rate has come down to 3.5 from 4.2 and aim is to make it 2. Fertility rate comes down drastically if women are educated. If girls are educated, they will also not agree to child marriage and female foeticide. New schemes are being launched to encourage girls to study.

## Nitish Kumar: 1.70 lakh girls in class 9 when I became the CM. Today, there are 8.15 lakh girls and 8.28 lakh boys in class 9 now. This shows that girls are a better ratio when compared with the sex ratio. This has brought a major change in the society

## Nitish Kumar: Education for all was a major challenge, we have tried to ensure that education reaches all. Now, only small difference between number of boys and girls in high school.

## Nitish Kumar: All sections of society must have a stake in government. Earlier, you could not find a school in villages, now if you go, you will get to know where the school is.

## Nitish Kumar: We should ensure that there is development of all sections of the society. There should be an atmosphere of development

## Chief Minister Nitish Kumar arrives for IBN Dialogue Bihar 2.0

The welcome note will be given by Network 18 news president Umesh Upadhyay and will be followed by an address by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The Chief Minister will also participate in a Q&A session and answer queries from experts.

After this session, senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi will address the gathering at 11 am, which will be followed by an interactive session.

The next to address the gathering at the event will be RJD chief and former chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav. He will also participate in a Q&A session after the speech. Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will also be one of the speakers.

The addresses by the political leaders will culminate with a panel discussion at 12.30 pm. It will be followed by addresses from NCP general secretary Tariq Anwar, and Congress leader Nikhil Kumar. Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) President Dr Ashok Chaudhary and BJP national spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain will also be speakering at the event.

Following these, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad will address the gathering and also interact with the guests.
