Jaipur: A Jaipur court on Tuesday ordered inquiry against Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot over illegal mining leases.

The chief minister is accused of favouring his relatives while granting mining leases. He allegedly tweaked norms to help his family members get mining leases.

Nineteen of Gehlot's relatives, including three from his brother and sister's families, secured sandstone mines near Jodhpur.

A Jaipur court has also ordered inquiry against 13 others.
