TIRUCHY: In an obvious response to DMK chief M Karunanidhi’s criticism of the AIADMK government’s rehabilitation package for districts hit by cyclone Thane, CM J Jayalalithaa on Monday said criticism with the intention of finding fault should be ignored.Taking a dig at Karunanidhi’s statement asandhudhan ponaargal (really, they were stunned), she said those who had stunned the world with corruption (oozhalaal ulagaiye asara vaithavargal) were finding fault with the objective of criticising the government’s public welfare schemes.Quoting an incident from the life of philosopher and poet Pattinathar, she explained how some people tend to find fault with the sole intention of doing so.“Let people appreciate or criticise, my duty is to serve the people”, she said, quoting a verse from sage and poet Thayumanavar. “People’s development is my development”, she added.“My government is for the poor and weaker sections of the people...In the aftermath of Thane cyclone that hit Cuddalore and Villupuram districts, the government had sanctioned `850 crore
