Srinagar: Trouble seems to be rising for Jammu and Kashmir Education Minister Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed. Taking suo moto cognisance of the examgate row, the State Accountability Commission has asked him to appear in person on March 2.

Sayeed was accused of using "unfair means" to help his son pass the matriculation examination.

The Jammu and Kashmir crime branch report had said that there was prima facie evidence to show the involvement of officials of both the Board and Education department.

The report also pointed out that Sayeed's son was helped in his exams in more than two subjects in the 2009 class 10th board exams.

It also stated that a senior education officer even wrote his Urdu and Maths paper.

Shockingly, the report also revealed that just before the exams, the Board even facilitated his migration from one school to another so that a favourable centre could be assigned to him.
