The government delayed the debate deliberately till 12 (midnight), CPI leader D Raja said.
New Delhi: The Communist Party of India (CPI) on Thursday night accused the government of planning the delay in Lokpal debate in Rajya Sabha to escape voting in the legislation.
"They (the government) delayed the debate deliberately till 12 (midnight), because they wanted to escape voting," CPI leader D Raja said.
"Definitely, the government completely failed today," he said.
