26. Lormi is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Chhattisgarh and is part of Bilaspur Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Lormi falls in Mungeli district and North region of Chhattisgarh. It is categorised as a rural seat.

There are a total of 1,97,352 voters in the seat, which includes 1,00,790 male voters, and 96,559 female voters. In the 2018 Chhattisgarh elections, Lormi recorded a voter turnout of 72.08%. In 2013 the turnout was 73.93%, and in 2008 it was 69.32%.

In 2013, Tokhan Sahu of BJP won the seat by a margin of 6,241 votes (4.74%). Tokhan Sahu secured 39.75% of the total votes polled.

INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 4,989 votes (4.56%), registering 44.37% of the total votes polled.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP led in the Lormi Assembly segment of the Bilaspur Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
