Jayalalithaa offered CPI, CPM one seat each in Tamil Nadu to contest polls.
Chennai: The AIADMK-CPI-CPM alliance in Tamil Nadu may not fructify with sources in the Left saying that Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has only offered both parties one seat each. A final decision could be taken on Thursday.
The CPI and the CPM, however, seem disinclined to go with the AIADMK even if they fail to get more seats.
Jayalalithaa snubbed the two major national parties by joining hands with the CPI and CPM in Tamil Nadu, two weeks ago. Later she announced AIADMK candidates for all 39 seats in Tamil Nadu.
