The son of a minister in Maharashtra got into an argument with a traffic constable in Mumbai late on Tuesday night.
Traffic police personnel reportedly suspected that the minister's son was planning to drive his car in an inebriated state, leading to an argument between him and a constable.
The issue was, however, resolved following the argument and Maharashtra Transport Minister Diwakar Raote's son was let off. The incident took place outside the Hinduja hospital in Mahim area of Mumbai.
No case was registered with Mahim police station or traffic department in connection with the incident.
