Patna: The NSUI workers reportedly attacked and ransacked the main entrance gate of Bihar HRD minister PK Sahi's house on Monday. The Minister's house was attacked against the Chhapra mid day meal tragedy.
Twenty three students died and many others were admitted to a hospital after consuming mid day meal at a government school in Marhaura in Chhapra last week.
The Chhapra administration has lodged a FIR against 30 named persons and 60 unknown persons for torching four police vehicles during protests. This came after protesters had gone on a rampage on Wednesday during Chhapra bandh over the mid day meal tragedy.
The opposition RJD and BJP had called for a bandh in the district on Wednesday.
