Nagpur: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has sparked another row, alleging that Mumbai terror attacks could not have been possible without "local support".
"Such a big attack could not have been possible without the local support. I want to know who is stopping the government from taking action. This is because of vote bank politics," Modi told BJP's National Council meeting in Nagpur on Sunday.
Modi also launched a no holds barred attack on dynasty politics in the Congress and on the party's heir apparent Rahul Gandhi.
"In India one family has destroyed everything. This country is struggling under them," said Modi as BJP leaders listened with rapt attention.
India has blamed Pakistani terror groups of masterminding the Mumbai attack. Even the lone captured Mumbai attacker Mohammad Ajmal Amir Kasab has confessed that he along with nine other terrorists who attacked Mumbai belonged to Pakistan.
New Delhi has already handed over a dossier to Islamabad with evidences of Pakistani links to the attack.
