Jaipur: Emphasising on the need for collective efforts, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Monday said leaders should refrain from indulging into politics over relief efforts in flood-ravaged Uttarakhand "This is the occasion when all should think from human point of view, but some people who visited Uttarakhand tried to do politics. This is not fair," Gehlot told reporters in Jaipur.
Gehlot arrived from Uttarakhand on Monday where he was supervising relief works carried out by the state officials for people from Rajasthan trapped there. "There were rumours that people from specific state were being evacuated on priority basis but the search and rescue operation is being conducted properly and systematically.
"This is the time when we should be united and make efforts to ensure that sufferers are provided relief," he said.
