No evidence against Shourie in 2G scam: sources

New Delhi: The CBI on Tuesday submitted its report on former telecom ministers Arun Shourie and Dayanidhi Maran in the 2G spectrum scam.

Sources have told CNN-IBN that no evidence has been found against Arun Shourie and a probe is still on against the deceased NDA telecom minister Pramod Mahajan.

Sources have also said that no clean chit has been given to former textile minister Dayanidhi Maran and the decision to convert preliminary inquiry into an FIR will be taken in the next few days.

There is a temporary reprieve for Essar-Loop as the chargesheet has been delayed yet again due to a difference in opinion of the Law Minitsry, TRAI and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
