New Delhi: After wooing actor Sanjay Dutt into its ranks, the Samajwadi Party is now casting its net far wider. This time they are going as far as to poach from the BJP's camp.
Reports say, the Samajwadi Party is going after actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha.
The party has said it is in contact with Sinha but discussions were merely informal. Everything depends on whether Sinha gets the Patna Saheb ticket.
Sources on the ground say its a clear fight between him and party spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad.
Many say Shatrughan is the front-runner, but Samajwadi Party's General Secretary Amar Singh says if he is denied the ticket, Sinha may actually leave the party.
