PM Modi sounds Bihar poll bugle, attacks Lalu's RJD by calling it 'Rojana Jungle Raj ka Darr'
Modi takes a dig at Nitish Kumar, says, "The previous PM didn't come, only did an aerial survey but my visit now is troubling the Chief Minister."

Muzaffarpur: In a no hold's barred attack on the opposition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday hit out at both Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad. In a direct attack on Lalu's RJD, Modi said it stood for "Rozana Jungle Raj ka Darr".

Addressing an election rally in Muzaffarpur district, Modi made every attempt to woo the people and said that package for the state will be more than Rs 50,000 crore. "I can't speak much on the package as Parliament session is underway. I will announce the package after the session."

Addressing an election rally in Muzaffarpur district on Saturday, Modi took potshots at Lalu and narrated an incident where he was mistreated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said, "When I was invited for lunch by then Chief Minister, he took away my food. Lalu said he is having poison today but I had it on that day."

Modi also took a dig at Nitish Kumar for breaking the 17-year-old alliance before the Lok Sabha elections. "There was a time when Nitish asked me not to come to Bihar, but time has changed now. The previous PM didn't come, only did an aerial survey but my visit now is troubling the Chief Minister. If I was so bad you could have slapped me, strangled me but why did you strangle the development of an entire state, is this democracy?" asked Modi.

The Prime Minister also thanked Nitish for welcoming him, "I am thankful for the welcome, Chief Minister. See how the times have changed," Modi said.

Nitish took a dig at Modi ahead of his visit to the state saying, "We’re grateful after 14 months Modiji finds time to visit Bihar. As we get ready to hear more promises what about his old ones?"

With just months away for the elections to the crucial state, no party is leaving any stone unturned and have channelised their energies to form the next government in the state. Modi appealed to the people to elect NDA government with a two third majority. "When the new government comes you'll climb greater heights," said Modi.
