Ranchi: Development work will be free of corruption and services will be delivered in a time-bound manner, said the new Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghuvar Das on Sunday.
"Developmental works will be corruption-free. It has been decided that there will be an administration with accountability, responsibility will be fixed and services will be delivered in a time-bound manner," Das said at a media briefing after chairing his first cabinet meeting.
Urging the media to report in a constructive manner for the next two to four months, Das said Jharkhand has been "infamous" in the past and required everyone's cooperation, including the media, to work in the interest of the state's development.
The CM also issued directions to get a report on the proposed Press Club so that it could be placed before the next cabinet.
Das was heading the tenth government since the creation of the state 14 years ago which has been in the news for unstable governments.
