3. Sabalgarh is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Morena Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Sabalgarh falls in Morena district and Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,02,559 voters in the seat, which includes 1,09,894 male voters, and 92,662 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Sabalgarh recorded a voter turnout of 75.05%. In 2013 the turnout was 72.32%, and in 2008 it was 73.59%.
In 2013, Meharban Singh Rawat of BJP won the seat by a margin of 22,504 votes (16.61%). Meharban Singh Rawat secured 41.29% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 9,041 votes (8.15%), registering 36.06% of the total votes polled.
