New Delhi: Coming clear on the row over former law minister in the Aam Aadmi Party government Jitender Singh Tomar, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that it seems that he was kept in the dark. "I don't know what the facts are, but if reports are true, Jitender Tomar kept me in the dark," he said on the first day of the Budget session of Delhi Assembly.

"Police is investigating the matter, court is hearing the case. Law will take its course," he added.

Hitting out at Narendra Modi over the controversies revolving around External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Kejriwal said that the Prime Minister should act against his ministers too. "I acted against Jitender Tomar, PM should also act against Sushma Swaraj, Vasundhara Raje," he asserted.

BJP MLA OP Sharma was evicted from the House after he tried to disrupt proceedings and walked up to the Chief Minister over Tomar's degrees.

As soon as the House met, three BJP MLAs forcefully raised the issue of Tomar's arrest and sought a detailed discussion on the matter which was rejected by Speaker Ram Niwas Goel.
