Chennai: Ruling AIADMK legislator and former minister P Chendur Pandian died in Chennai on Saturday after a prolonged illness, the party said.
He was 65 and is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
Pandian represented Kadaiyanallur assembly constituency in Tirunelvelli district, around 650 km from here.

She said Pandian joined the party during its initial years and was a hard worker.
