Amethi: With Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on leave for over a month, missing MP posters were put up in his constituency Amethi in Uttar Pradesh.

The posters have left the party red-faced and Congress workers have removed it.

The Congress has already been facing flak for Rahul going on leave just before the crucial Budget session of Parliament.

Rahul had gone on a sabbatical to reflect upon "recent events" and the future course of the party.

Even when the party was aggressively protesting against the Land Acquisition Amendment Bill and undertook a march from Parliament to Rashtrapati Bhavan, but he was nowhere to be seen.
