Actress Anjali Has This To Say About Marriage Rumours

Anjali is one of the most popular actresses in the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada entertainment industries. She is currently making headlines for her upcoming Tamil movie, Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai. The actress recently had a media interaction about her marriage rumours, which is currently garnering everyone’s attention. In the interview, Anjali said, “I have many friends in the cinema industry. So the media themselves decide with whom to write about me. Earlier, they spread gossip that I was dating Tamil actor Jai. Then they said that I was married to a businessman and settled in America. I always smile when looking at this news and think that I was married without knowing it.” She further added that the media writes whatever they like because she is an actress.

Earlier, there were rumours that Anjali was dating Tamil actor Jai. The duo was lauded for their on-screen chemistry in the 2011 romance drama Engaeyum Eppothum, popularly known as Journey. Directed by M Saravanan and Engaeyum Eppothum, it revolves around a metal worker named Kathiresan aka Jai, who gets smitten by a nurse named Manimegalai (played by Anjali).

Speculations were rife that Anjali was dating Jai and the rumoured pair were going to get married soon, Anjali later dismissed the rumours, as reported ETimes. In addition, Jai also revealed that, even though he is single, he is not ready to date and is busy with his career.

Anjali made her acting debut in 2006 with the Telugu-language romantic thriller film Photo. The movie was directed by Siva Nageswara Rao and also featured Anand and Muktha in pivotal roles. Since then, the actress has never looked back. With movies like Macherla Niyojakavargam, Vakeel Saab, Bairagee, and Paava Kadhaigal, among others, she has created a huge fan base.

Anjali often hogs the limelight for her acting prowess and quintessential fashion choices. She was last seen in the Malayalam-language crime thriller-drama film Iratta. The movie was written and directed by Rohit MG Krishnan and featured Joju George in dual roles, Anjali, Arya Salim, and Srikant Murali in the lead roles.
