Malayalam actors Anoop Menon and Dhyan Sreenivasan have teamed up for a film tentatively titled Production No 14. The puja and the switch-on ceremony of the film were held in Ernakulam, Kerala. Manoj Palotan has directed this film. Besides Anoop and Dhyan, actress Sheelu Abraham, Azees Nedumangad, Johny Antony, Senthil, Sajin Cherukayil and others will essay other key roles in Production No 14.
Abraham Mathew has produced this film under the banner of Abaam Movies. Production No 14 is the 14th film being bankrolled by Abaam Movies. Krishna Poojappura has been roped in to write the screenplay of this film. BK Harinarayanan will be responsible for writing the lyrics which will be set to music by Prakash Ulliyeri.
Mahadevan Thampi is in charge of the film’s cinematography. Sian Srikanth is in charge of the editing. Production No 14 will be shot in Ernakulam and surrounding areas. As of now, there is no information regarding the plot of this movie. Anoop Menon and Dhyan Sreenivasan have also not shared any information regarding this film on social media.
Anoop acted in the film Abraham Ozler, directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas. Anoop played the role of Dr Satheesh Madhavan in this film. Jayaram, Jagadish, Senthil Krishna, Arya Salim and others also acted in this movie. Abraham Ozler received mixed reviews from critics. Meanwhile, Sreenivasan played the lead role in the film titled Bullet Diaries, written and directed by Santhosh Mandoor. Bullet Diaries received poor reviews from the critics and the audience. Johny Antony, Manoj KV, Srikant Murali, Renji Panicker and others have acted in this film.
Anoop hasn’t figured out what is more exciting, acting or writing, despite acting in more than many films. In an interview with the Cinema Express, however, Anoop said that acting is the most easiest and lucrative profession. He added that these conditions are applicable only if one has learned the craft and established oneself. On the other hand, Dhyan told Onmanorama that he considers himself a part-time actor. Dhyan said,” I always wanted to be a director and never an actor.”
