Censor Clears Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's Spy Thriller Devil With U/A Rating

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram starrer Devil: The British Secret Agent is all set to hit the silver screens on December 29. Directed by Abhishek Nama, the film stars Elnaaz Norouzi, Samyuktha Menon, and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in the leading roles.

Recently, the film has secured a U/A certification by the CBFC and cleared all censor formalities. The film received an A certificate due to its intense violent sequences. The run time of the film is set for 2 hours and 26 minutes. Even though there are intense scenes, the Censor Board recognised and praised the engaging story in the movie.

The movie, set for release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada languages, features a screenplay, and a story by Srikanth Vissa. The film also stars Mark Bennington, Edward Sonnenblick, Malvika Nair, and others in pivotal roles. With music composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, the cinematography of the film is handled by Soundar Rajan.

Touted to be a period drama, the film follows a British secret agent who takes up the job of solving a dark mystery. The film was shot extensively to reveal the conditions of British-ruled India. Meanwhile, the film is produced by Devansh Nama, Mohit Rawlyani, and Abhishek Nama under the banner of Abhishek Pictures.

Besides Devil: The British Secret Agent, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is all set to appear in the upcoming film Bimbisara 2. Directed by Anil Paduri, the film talks about the conflict between the brothers. He last appeared in Pradeep Chilukuri’s directorial NKR21.
