Actors Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil are set to join hands for the second time after their much-acclaimed film, Maamannan, directed by Mari Selvaraj. They left the audience immensely impressed with their performances in the film. As per reports, the upcoming film is slated to be a comedy thriller, showcasing the journey of two people. An announcement poster for the film was released by the makers on New Year’s day, on the official X account of the film’s production house. The tweet read, “Super Good Films presents its 98th movie starring Fahad Faasil and Vadivelu #rbchoudary #supergoodfilms #fahadfaasil #vadivelu #sudheeshsankar #98.” According to the poster, the film is tentatively being called Production No 98, signifying the production house’s 98th film.

The film is going to be made under the direction of Sudheesh Shankar. It will be produced by RB Choudhary, under the banner of Super Good Films. Yuvan Shankar Raja is going to compose the music in the film. Kalaiselvan Sivaji is handling the cinematography, while the editing is being done by Sreejith Sarang. According to reports, more details on the film will be released soon.
Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil were last seen in the critically acclaimed Maamannan. Directed by Mari Selvaraj, the film also starred Udhayanidhi Stalin along with Keerthy Suresh, Lal, Azhagam Perumal, and others. It is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin, under the banner of Red Giant Films, while AR Rahman has composed the music. It was released on June 29, 2023.
Fahadh Faasil has a line-up of interesting projects this year, which include films like Pushpa 2: The Rule, Aavesham, Paattu, and Vettaiyan. The actor is set to reprise his role as Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in the Allu Arjun-starrer. It is coming to theatres on August 15, 2024, and is being made under a reported budget of Rs 500 crore.
