SS Rajamouli Crosses Paths With Anime Creators Rui Kuroki, Kazuto Nakazawa In Japan; See Viral Pic
During his trip to Japan, SS Rajamouli met with anime creators Rui Kuroki, Kazuto Nakazawa.

Even two years after its release, the SS Rajamouli directorial RRR continues to captivate audiences worldwide. The movie not only made a significant impact in India but also garnered global attention, earning an Oscar for its song Naatu Naatu. Besides that, the film continues to enjoy a massive fan base across the globe. Recently, a special screening of RRR was held in Japan, which was graced by director Rajamouli. Not only that, the film-maker also got the opportunity to interact with Rui Kuroki and Kazuto Nakazaw, leading names in the field of anime.

Taking to the X(formerly Twitter) handle on Thursday, SS Rajamouli shared a smiling picture with Rui and Kazuto. He wrote, “I was always curious about the process and making of fantastic Japanese anime. Thank you Rui Kuroki-san and Kazuto Nakazawa-san, for the wonderful time. Thoroughly enjoyed our creative discussions. Looking forward…”

Rui Kuroki and Kazuto Nakazawa are names that stir excitement and anticipation in the worlds of anime and animation. Rui Kuroki, celebrated for his role as a producer, has been instrumental in bringing to life numerous popular series and films that have captivated audiences worldwide. His ability to blend storytelling, character development, and stunning visuals sets his projects apart in a crowded field.

Kazuto Nakazawa, on the other hand, is a revered director and animator known for his distinctive style and storytelling prowess. Nakazawa has made significant contributions to the animation industry, with a portfolio that includes critically acclaimed films, series, and contributions to various anthologies. His work is characterized by a unique blend of artistry and narrative depth, making him a standout talent in animation and beyond.

Meanwhile, speaking about SS Rajamouli, during his time in Japan, he met a special fan who gifted him 1,000 origami cranes along with a note that won his heart. Rajamouli shared pictures with his fan on Instagram and described his experience. “In Japan, they make origami cranes & gift them to their loved ones for good luck & health. This 83-year-old woman made 1000 of them to bless us because RRR made her happy. She just sent the gift and was waiting outside in the cold. Some gestures can never be repaid. Just grateful,” he wrote.

In the picture, the ace director can be seen posing happily with the 83-year-old fan while holding the gift he received. Another picture shows a close-up of the gift bag that has a picture of the woman with Ram Charan and Jr NTR, grooving to the Naatu Naatu song. “I am 83 years old. I wanna dance with RRR everyday. I made it one by one. Rajamouli garu, Welcome to Japan,” she wrote on it.

Notably, the event was organised on Monday, 18 March. Earlier in 2022, a meet-and-greet session could not be held in Japan due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Team RRR claimed that tickets for the special show were sold out in less than a minute after they went online. During the screening, the director received loud cheers and a standing ovation from fans, leaving him overwhelmed.
