Watch: Usher And BTS Star Jungkook Display Cool Dance Moves To 'Yeah'

BTS member Jungkook and American singer-songwriter Usher joined forces, producing a remix version of Standing Next To You track. The dream collaboration between two music sensations was bound to create waves. And so it did. Within hours of its release on December 1, the remix version claimed a special spot in the top 10 US iTunes list. Now, speculations are rife that a music video might also be on the cards. Amidst this, Usher and Jungkook decided to treat fans with another little marvel. On Sunday, December 3, Usher dropped a video on Instagram, featuring the BTS star as the duo displayed their extraordinary dance moves to Usher’s 2004 song Yeah.

“Stay tuned” captioned Usher on the post. The video captured the American singer and Jungkook shaking a leg to the Yeah number. The two artists grooved to the beats of the foot-tapping song, dancing their hearts out in their distinctive styles. It was impossible to miss their coolness quotient as they swayed to the upbeat lyrics, swaying in perfect synchronisation. In between, Usher and Jungkook shook hands and patted each other’s backs as a non-verbal form of brotherhood. While Usher was dressed in a street-style all-black ensemble, Jungkook wore an oversized white sweatshirt that he teamed up with loose-fitted grey joggers.

The video did not take much time to reach the social media feed of internet users, making both Usher fans and the BTS ARMY happy. “When you both have swag and rhythm,” complimented one user. “When your childhood artist and current artist do a collaboration, it’s gonna be lit lit for sure,” quipped another. “My heart can’t take this. The world is not ready,” expressed a third individual. Others reacted to the video by dropping fire emojis.

On December 2, Jungkook took the excitement of fans a notch higher when he shared a picture with Usher on Instagram accompanying a cryptic caption that read, “We rollin’ yet?” The photo captured the duo of musical geniuses sporting an all-black leather ensemble, exuding swag at its best. The dusty background added to the rugged charm of the frame. The snap sent rumours buzzing that a visual representation of the Standing Next To You remix in the form of a music video might be out soon. However, an official confirmation is awaited.
