RPSC RAS Mains 2023 Exam Date: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced the revised date of the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) Main Exam. The examination was scheduled to be held on January 27 and 28 but the commission later deferred the same. The RPSC RAS will now be held on July 20 and 21. The RAS recruitment process aims to fill 905 vacancies. This includes 424 posts for state services and 481 for subordinate services.
RPSC said in a statement that as per the decision taken in the commission meeting, the dates of the main examination have been revised to July 20 and 21. It is noteworthy that the candidates of the examination were demanding an extension of the date. This issue was also discussed in the cabinet meeting held recently and a decision was taken to extend the date. Candidates who are set to appear for the exam can now check the revised dates on the official website, rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
There are a total of four papers under the RPSC RAS Main Exam. Each paper consists of 200 marks. Candidates will have three hours time for each paper. The papers include General Studies I, General Studies II, General Studies III, General Hindi, and General English. Each paper comprises 200 marks.
The RPSC RAS preliminary results 2023 were released in October. It was held on October 1, 2023, at various test centres throughout the state. The exam, which is aimed to select Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ officials for the Rajasthan government, saw around 5,00,000 people take part. The provisional answer key was given on October 2, and candidates had until October 4 to file objections to it. On October 20, the RAS prelims final answer key for 2023 was released alongside the results.
