People Complain Galaxy S24’s Display Looks Dull, Here’s What Samsung Has To Say
Samsung has made its name with screens that are high on contrast but this year things are different.

Samsung Galaxy S24 has a display issue as reported by many owners, who feel the screen shows dull colours compared to the previous Samsung flagship models. Reports say people have noticed display colour inconsistency issues which was even affirmed by the company.

However, latest development has given the whole story an interesting twist which has puzzled some of you. Samsung is apparently using a different tuning for the Galaxy S24 series which means you see less contrast on the screen compared to the Galaxy S23 models from last year.

The details about the supposed feature have been shared by Samsung Spain division with an update provided by a local branch in this report. The company was quoted saying that the colour and brightness of the Galaxy S24 series has been tuned for viewing accuracy that makes it comfortable for the eyes. The natural tones of the Galaxy S24’s screen have been done intentionally and the report confirms the colour adjustment is not a defect.

The weird part is that Samsung is giving varying inputs in different regions. When the company has already confirmed the display issue, how is Samsung’s Spain division saying everything is fine with the screen performance.

Samsung’s AMOLED panels are renowned for their high contrast levels where the greens and blues light up in front of the eyes. If the company has decided to tone it down this year, it could possibly be linked to the overall management of the screen and the power it uses. The most premium Samsung Galaxy S24 model has got some tweaks of its own, courtesy of a new Corning Glass panel which gives it better durability and also better to read outdoors.
