iBall has launched a new smartphone - the Andi Gold 4G - in India at a price of Rs 6,499. The highlight of the phone is its 3000 mAh battery, which is claimed to deliver a talk time of up to 12 hours.

The new 4G phone features a 5-inch IPS HD display, 1 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB internal storage (with support for a microSD card up to 32 GB). The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

It has an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front camera.

The iBall Andi Gold 4G comes with a protective cover. It will be available in stores across India.

While the phone offers a heavy spec-sheet, there are phones that have been well-received (such as the Redmi 2 and the Zenfone Go) available in the same price segment.
