New Delhi-based electronics brand Intex has launched its Aqua Strong 5.1 smartphone at a price of Rs 4,999. The handset runs Android Marshmallow operating system and offers a 5-inch display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection.
The Intex Aqua Strong 5.1 is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage with support for up to 32GB microSD card.
On the camera front, the device mounts a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera for selfies. Backed by a 2,800mAh battery, the handset supports VoLTE. Intex has partnered with Reliance Jio for provide free data and voice services under Jio Preview Offer.
The company had recently launched its Aqua S7 smartphone at a price of Rs 9,499. It offers a 5-inch H IPS display with a 2.5D DragonTrail glass and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow along with a 64-bit Quad core processor assisted by 3GB of RAM.
The Aqua S7 also supports VoLTE. The device comes with a fingerprint scanner placed below the 13MP rear camera with flash and for selfie, the device offers a 5MP secondary camera. Aqua S7 has 16GB onboard memory which can be expanded to 64GB and has a 3200 mAh battery.
