New Delhi: After launching its LG G4 smartphone recently, LG has launched another variant of the flagship device- the LG G4 Beat- that retains some of the features and functions of the original G4.
Unlike the parent LG G4, the G4 Beat is smaller in size and sports a 5.2-inch full HD display and runs a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor combined with 1.5GB RAM.
This 4G LTE-enabled device comes with an 8 megapixel rear camera, supported by LG’s Color Spectrum Sensor and Laser Auto Focus combined with a 5 megapixel front snapper.
Based on the Android Lollipop, the LG G4 Beat includes an internal storage of 8GB and draws its juice from a 2300mAh battery- which is again lower than the parent device that boasts of a powerful 3000mAh.
Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, and USB. The LG G4 Beat will be available in Metallic Silver, Ceramic White, and Shiny Gold colour options.
LG hasn’t revealed the price of the device, other than the phone will be ‘mid-tier’ and make its debut in key markets in Europe and Latin America before rolling out globally in markets such as Canada, India, Russia, Singapore, South Africa and Turkey, among others.
