As we are getting nearer to the Nexus phone launches on September 29, more rumours are flowing in at an even faster pace - almost every day.
This time, Android Police in its new set of leaks has revealed purported press renders of the much-rumoured Nexus 5X, a phone that LG is manufacturing for Google. While one of the images gives a close look at how the phone would look, the other image shows the phone from its rear and the colours it could come in.
The front of the phone shows it to be a regular phone with rounded edges. Also it has two grilles at top and bottom which suggests front-facing speakers on the phone.
The rear of the Nexus 5X appears to have a design different from the ones what we have seen on previous Nexus smarthphones. If the images are believed to be true, the new Nexus 5X would be one of the first Nexus phones to come with a fingerprint sensor.
The back of the phone sports a sensor for fingerprint which is positioned right below the protruding camera that seems to be paired with a dual-tone flash.
The colours of the phone in the photos appear to be in line with an earlier leak that surfaced on Amazon India. And therefore, we expect the phone to come in three colours - Charcoal Black, Ice Blue, and Quartz White.
If the reports and leaks are to be taken at face value, the Nexus 5 will come with a 5.2-inch full HD display, 12.3 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front-facing camera, and a Snapdragon 808 chipset. It is still unclear if it would have 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM.
