Uber today announced its mobility partnership with the Gujarat Lions Team for the 10th edition of the Indian Premier League. As a part of this partnership, Uber has launched an IPL special limited period product, uberLIONS that will give cricket lovers in Ahmedabad an option to get to Rajkot and get a ride back to Ahmedabad.
Commenting on the partnership, Keshav Bansal, Owner of Gujarat Lions Team, said, “We are delighted to associate with Uber for a one-of-a-kind partnership in our endeavour to provide an unmatched viewing experience for our fans. Steps to request uberLIONS to get a ride to Rajkot and get back to Ahmedabad
1. Slide to uberLIONS vehicle view on the Uber app.
2. Request a ride for a flat fare of Rs. 4499 for upto 500kms, post which users will be charged Rs. 9/km.
3. Users will have pay in cash for these round trips, Ahmedabad - Rajkot - Ahmedabad
