We Finally Know When Apple Could Launch New iPad Air and iPad Pro 2024 Models
Apple's big iPad refresh is widely anticipated as people want to see the devices with a new design and focus on performance.

Apple launched the new iPhones and Macs in 2023 but now it is time to see the company refresh its iPad lineup, which includes giving them a big design overhaul. The company is gearing up for a Spring 2024 launch event as per reports, where we could see the all-new iPad Air and Pro models with the M3-powered silicone from Apple. And now, it is suggested that the iPad launch event could happen sometime between March and April this year.

Most of us would agree that Apple’s current iPad lineup can be confusing for buyers, not giving them enough reasons to upgrade or consider picking the budget model.

The company has even seen the demand for iPads come down, which clearly reflects in its recent financial data for the device. But Apple is ready to push the levels in 2024 and ensure the iPads have a clear identity, starting from the base iPad and going up to the iPad Pro variants.

The base iPads will continue to serve those who are trying out iPads for the first time, and now, they will only have the USB-C option available, instead of two different base iPads. Similarly, the iPad Air lineup will have the M2-powered processor, which means the end of the A14 bionic model from the market.

Apple wants to dish out the M2 chipset for the iPad Air, which is likely to be offered in 10.9-inch and even a 12.9-inch version which will be first for the Air tablet series. Talking about the iPad Pro, expect Apple to go berserk with M3 chip, OLED display and changes to its design to compliment the inevitable price bump for the lineup. Apple has complicated matters for itself with a convoluted catalogue of iPads in the market. We are hoping the new refresh will streamline the portfolio, making it easy for the consumers to pick the right model for their needs.
