Xiaomi India Confirms HyperOS Coming To These Devices In January 2024: All Details
Xiaomi launched the HyperOS in China recently and now users in India have got some good news about the new software UI.

Xiaomi has launched the new HyperOS platform in China recently, which is also going to be seen with its first-ever electric car in 2024. But the other big news coming in this week is that Xiaomi users in India will get a taste of the new HyperOS software version in the coming weeks. The company has confirmed that the MIUI alternative will be available in India for its users, starting with some of its premium devices in January 2024.

Many people have been excited and eager to see how Xiaomi plans to overhaul the UI of the new version and if the features will make it more intuitive and fluid than MIUI. The company has already previewed the new version and shared some of the details/features that Xiaomi users can expect.

These Xiaomi Devices Will Be Getting HyperOS In India In January

– Xiaomi 13 Pro

– Xiaomi Pad 6

As you can see here, Xiaomi is starting its HyperOS roll out in India with the flagship Xiaomi 13 Pro model with Leica-engineered cameras, along with the Xiaomi Pad 6 model. Xiaomi’s popular Redmi Note lineup is yet to be confirmed eligible for the new software UI but we’re hoping that the company will share details about availability for other devices in the coming months.

Xiaomi should also work on bringing the new updates faster, something that MIUI has been guilty of failing to meet. Even today, most of the Xiaomi phones are running on the Android 13-based MIUI version, which isn’t fair when you already have Android 14 available in the market for the past 6 months.

It is good to see Xiaomi focus on HyperOS for all its markets, including India. Now, all eyes will be eager to see if the company brings its latest Xiaomi 14 series, all the models to the country this year, which will show its focus and plans for the Indian market in 2024. The company is also ready to unleash the new Redmi Note 13 and Note 13 Pro lineup in the country this week, where we expect to hear more about its roll out plans in the coming months.
