New Delhi: After selling the Mi 4 at a discount of Rs 2,000 during its Mi Fan festival early this month, Xiaomi has now decided to permanently slash the price of the flagship Mi 4 by the same amount.
"The Mi 4 16GB will now go for Rs 17,999, and 64GB model for Rs 21,999 (down from Rs 19,999 and Rs 23,999, respectively)," says Xiaomi India in a post on its Facebook page. The Mi 4 is available on Flipkart and The Mobile Store for now, and will soon be available on Snapdeal and Amazon India, the company's new e-commerce partners.
The announcement comes exactly a week before the company's "global Mi phone premiere" on April 23, where it is expected to unveil the rumoured Mi 4i.
