Xiaomi Mi4 (16GB) goes on sale in India on February 10; available for Rs 19,999

New Delhi: Xiaomi is all set to make its recently announced Mi4 smartphone available in India starting February 10. The Mi4, which is the company's flagship phone for the Indian market, comes in two variants - 16GB and 64GB.

The former is priced at Rs 19,999 and is scheduled to go sale on Flipkart starting 2PM on Febraury 10, while the latter will be available starting February 24 at Rs 23,999 - Rs 4,000 more than the 16GB variant.

What the Mi4 brings with it to India is the new MIUI 6, which is the latest Android-based user interface for Xiaomi smartphones. The MIUI 6 is based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat and features flat app icons, revamped camera app, better notifications system, ease of moving apps and much more.

The Xiaomi Mi3 successor has a 5-inch IPS display and is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and has 3GB RAM. It comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX214 BSI sensor and 4K video recording, and an 8-megapixel front camera.

The first flash sale of the Xiaomi Mi 4 coincides with the no-invite-needed sale of the OnePlus One.
