After Xiaomi showcased its Mi Note 2 and its innovative bezel-less Mi Mix smartphone, details about its next generation budget Redmi 4 smartphone has surfaced. The Redmi series phones have been popular in India due to its value for money packaging and the Redmi 4 is expected to work the same magic.
The device is expected to launch next year. The leaked images of the of the upcoming Redmi 4 suggest a similar design and comes in a metal body, according to a report by Android Headlines.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 will have a fingerprint sensor at the back and looks very similar to the current Redmi Note 3.
If online reports are to be believed, the Redmi 4 will offer a 5-inch Full HD display and might be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage with support for microSD card slot.
On the camera front, there will be a 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP front camera and will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery. The device is expected to be priced around CNY 1,299 in China which roughly translates to Rs 12,870.
There is no official confirmation about the Redmi 4 smartphone yet.
