Yahoo Mail adds Gmail management feature

After launching their redesigned Yahoo Mail app in October, Yahoo has now introduced the ability to manage users' Gmail accounts and apps. It was announced on December 10.

The updated app already offers users email management for Outlook.com, Hotmail and AOL, and now the last major mailbox has been added to the list: Gmail.

This development means clients can manage multiple email accounts within their Yahoo Mail app, and can choose from which email provider to send messages. It is also a move for Yahoo Mail towards becoming a universal database and not simply a service provider.

To add a Gmail account to Yahoo Mail, users can simply go to their Account Settings on their mobile app or desktop.
