The Yu Yunique 2 will be available in two colors, Champagne Gold and Coal Black. Earlier this year the rumor mills had been speculating the death of Yu Brand, a claim that was soon rubbished by the company. The Micromax brand Yu has launched yet another budget offering by the name of Yu Yunique 2. The successor to Yu Yunique has been launched at a price of Rs 5,999 and sports a 5-inch HD display which is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a quad core MediaTek MT6737 SoC and carries a 2GB RAM along with a 16GB internal storage, which is further expandable up to 64GB.
The Yu Yunique 2 runs the latest Android Nougat OS and draws its juice from a 2,500 mAh battery. The company claims it to provide a 11 hours of talktime and 22 hours of music playback on a single charge. On the optics front, the Yu Yunique 2 comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. The Yu Yunique 2 carries connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0 and houses a 3.5mm audio jack along with a micro-USB port. The smartphone also comes with Truecaller integration that aims to provide Spam protection along with caller ID functionality.
The Yu Yunique 2 will be available on Flipkart starting July 27, in two colour options - Coal Black and Champagne Gold at a price of Rs 5,999.
