Bigg Boss (BB) 16 fame Abdu Rozik recently surprised fans and friends with the announcement of his engagement and his upcoming wedding. Reportedly, the Tajikistan based singer is set to tie the knot with Amira, an Emirati Girl, on July 7 in the UAE. While fans eagerly wait for his wedding photos, it was earlier revealed that the content creator was offered to join Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. However, latest reports suggest that Rozik declined the offer due to concerns about scars and injuries that could affect his appearance before the wedding. The former BB contestant is focusing on his well-being to ensure he looks perfect on his special day. Whether he was approached as a contestant or special guest on the show is not known yet.
Speaking about his decision to turn down KKK14, Abdu told ETimes, “Everyone has a dream to look perfect for their big day and I am no exception. I want our wedding photos to be perfect, without any scars or marks that could come from performing stunts. Accidents or injuries so close to the wedding date it was an impossible decision but the wedding is a priority.”
Other than Abdu Rozik, Bigg Boss 17 contestant Samarth Jurel has also backed out from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 due to medical reasons. The Udaariyan star reportedly injured his knee and is currently not fit to perform exciting stunts. The show’s makers are now searching for another celebrity to replace him and reports suggest that Mannara Chopra might step in. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.
After the exit of Abdu and Samarth, the final list of KKK14 contestant includes, Krishna Shroff, Asim Riaz, Sumona Chakravarti, Gashmeer Mahajani, Shilpa Shinde, Abhishek Kumar, Niyati Fatnani, Karan Veer Mehra, Aditi Sharma, Nimrit Kaur Ahulwalia, Kedar Aashish Mehrotra and Shalin Bhanot.
In an earlier interview with Free Press Journal, Abdu Rozik revealed how he met Amira and shared, “Amira is a sweet 19 year old girl. She is from Sharjah and is currently studying business administration. She loves and respects me as well as my family. What I love the most about her is that she is very caring. We met for the first time at an Italian restaurant. I was there with my friends and she had also come there along with her friends. Amira then asked her friends to get my contact number. They approached my friends who instantly shared it. She messaged me and then we started chatting and understanding each other. We started going out and fell in love.”
Meanwhile, Abdu Rozik plans to invite his Bigg Boss Mandali, which includes MC Stan, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Sajid Khan and Shiv Thakare for his wedding on July 7. Reportedly, the content creator might also invite BB host and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan to his special day.
